🌴 About DevFest Hackathon 2026

Welcome to DevFest Hackathon 2026! Hosted by Google Developer Groups Central Florida, DevFest is our premier annual developer festival bringing together tech enthusiasts, creators, and builders of all skill levels. This year’s hackathon focuses on human-centered AI, ethical innovation, and collaborative building. Rather than focusing solely on hyper-speed competition, we emphasize collaboration, creativity, and community impact. With AI transforming the tech landscape, we treat advanced AI models as partners to augment human ingenuity, connection, and problem-solving. Whether you are a software developer, UI/UX designer, product strategist, or community advocate, there is a track and a place for your voice!

🚀 Why Attend?

• 🤖 Build with Google AI Technologies: Gain hands-on experience leveraging Google's Gemini AI suite, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Firebase, web dev, mobile app dev, Unity, agent frameworks and open-source tooling.
• 💡 Mentorship & Technical Support: Work alongside Google Developer Experts (GDEs), Google Cloud Innovators, and industry veterans ready to help you debug, design, and pivot.
• 🔗 Forge Lasting Connections: Form teams, collaborate with top local tech talent, and network with hiring sponsors and community leaders.
• 🏆 Elevate Your Portfolio & Win Prizes: Showcase your prototype or strategy deck on Demo Day to a panel of expert judges and compete for track awards.
